The Green Tariff Option 1
Electricity & Gas - 26% of the electricity you use will come from renewable sources, specifically wind farms; the rest will come from conventional sources. The important thing about this tariff is that the company we buy from invests heavily in building new wind farms. Also please be aware that the quota for excessive usage is 11% less than under our normal tariff to encourage energy efficiency. Make sure you don't have prepayment card meters in your house;if you do there is an extra charge. Water (rateable value based)

Water (metered)
Make sure your landlord does not already pay for water. This is a tariff for customers who have a water meter. Unlike the rateable value based tariff which is based on the rateable value of your property, this tariff is based on the consumption of students in shared accommodation, which as you can imagine is very high.
