Summer Saver Scheme

Not planning to use your house much over the summer?

If your tenancy begins in July but you are not planning to move into your house until near the beginning of term or if you are planning to use your house only intermittently over the summer then you should join our Summer Savers Scheme. You sign up in the normal way, make your summer payments normally and receive a refund back at the end of the summer, calculated as follows:

• If you are taking gas and electricity from us we require meter readings at the beginning of your tenancy and again at the end of the summer holiday when term starts. You will receive a full refund for gas and electricity over the summer less the cost of electricity and gas actually used over the summer based on the meter readings that were taken.
• Last years customers should note that the Summer Saver Scheme refund percentage is now 100% and that the Summer Saver Scheme only applies to Gas & Electricity services. Rather than apply the scheme to hi-tech services you can simply choose when you want your hi-tech services to begin and start paying for them from that date. Signing up early insures you don’t get caught in the annual Telewest rush.
• Also note that we accept late comers to the scheme providing they have the relevant meter readings.
